UPDATED AND DOWNRATED

Well, after a good look over the bike I am disappointed to see some minor bondo work and some minor rippling on the right side of the front apron. Looks like it was hit, and ever so slighly bent, so I will have to do some body work on it. Oh well, cant ride it anyways as Fort Irwin motorcycle policy will not allow me to ride it without a two day course on motorcycle safety...I cant take work off for it now.

Drop Reset

Wow, Didnt realize I missed posting for almost three weeks! wife is back and work on the scooter is slowing moving along. After a fix to the original gas tank (thanks Alex at Vespa Supershop!) and getting it registered. The California DMV continues to move to lows on customer service and general information output. I was corrected that I owned a motorcycle, not a scooter. Even thought the title stated it was a motor scooter and she could see it out in the parking lot....she registered it as a motorcycle. This after some very "cheerful" conversation with her (I will not publish that...negative energyneed not be spread!). Oh well, it goes on.

The Die is Cast

So I will get the GS and begin the long and sometimes agonizing restoring of the bike. What I paid...well some ppl think I am nuts...but its small joy as my wife is spending the same amount on a trip...

I cant understand why some ppl have to rain on your happiness. Why cant we be more supportive...I mean...whats the price on this>>>>>

So there it is

I found that total white creation of GS fun...but the dollars are already flying out of my hand...what though will become of my time....hope that my son will enjoy the hours of turning wrenches and finesse and care that only a Vespa can demand...and so much time spent before with another...and yet lots of good times then too.
